Intent to Plan Proposals
Intent to plans are no longer being accepted. A new process for Level II proposals was instituted in March 2020 that requires initial approval and comment by the Board of Regents through a Request to Plan. You can view information on the Request to Plan process here. Intent to Plans submitted before March 2020 may proceed to Level II proposals, provided the Level II form is submitted prior to the March 2020 Board of Regents meeting.
To increase communication, collaboration, and problem solving opportunities throughout the system and with the Board of Regents in the early stages of the program/center/institute development process, campuses must complete and submit an Intent to Plan. Intent to Plan documents will be removed from this website and considered halted upon the request of the proposing institution or after 18 months from the final review of the Intent to Plan, whichever comes first.
The submission of an Intent to Plan proposal does not guarantee the submission of
a full Level II proposal, nor does the approval of an Intent to Plan proposal at any
level guarantee the approval of the full Level II proposal.
