ITEM 117-1902-R1102  Authorization to Assess Continuing Education Fees; The University of Montana-Helena College of Technology

THAT:  The Board of Regents authorizes The University of Montana-Helena College of Technology to assess continuing education fees in accordance with Board Policy 940.10. The fee for credit-bearing courses shall be a minimum of $80.00 per semester-credit hour. A higher enrollment fee may be charged when variations occur. The fee for non-credit-bearing courses shall be based on the cost of the offering.

 

EXPLANATION:  This fee will allow the College to assess appropriate fees to recover costs of continuing education courses offered. Some programs included in the continuing education activities are the State training program, non-program fire training courses, and community outreach.
