BACKGROUND: The Montana Motorcycle Safety Advisory Committee was created by the original motorcycle safety training legislation in 1989. Committee members serve for terms of four years. SB 428 authorizes the Board of Regents to appoint the representative of motorcycle rider safety training instructors.

CURRENT MEMBERS: The current members of the Montana Motorcycle Safety Advisory Committee are listed in the table above. The term of the current representative of motorcycle rider safety instructors expires in 2001.
