Minimum Standards for Courses & Instructors
COURSES: Motorcycle rider safety training courses for beginning or experienced motorcycle riders feature both classroom and on-road components that are designed to teach those riders how to safely operate their vehicles. All motorcycle rider safety training courses use curricula developed and approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation or a similar organization.
INSTRUCTORS: Motorcycle rider safety training instructors must meet the minimum standards required by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation or the similar organization that provides course curricula, demonstrate knowledge of current motorcycle rider safety training practices, and comply with administrative policies and procedures for course conduct.
