What is First Generation Day?

November 8^th is recognized as National First-Generation Celebration Day. This day celebrates students who are, or will be, the first in their family to attend a college or university after high school. The goal of this event is to create a culture of support for first-generation students and share the stories of those who have taken the journey before them.
