THAT:                                       In accordance with Montana University System Policy 940.23, the Board of Regents authorizes the expenditure of student computer fee money for the following:

                                                Student Access Points – Network Access               80,000

                                                Mansfield Library                                                    34,000

                                                Wireless Project Phase 2                                       32,500

                                                Information Technology Office Contingency           $  30,000

                                                College of Arts and Sciences                                104,101

EXPLANATION:                        Board of Regents’ Policy 940.23 requires Board approval of all allocations from Student Computer Fee funds over $25,000.  Allocations of smaller amounts receive approval by the Commissioner and President ($10,000-$25,000) or President (up to $9,999).  The complete list of allocations is attached.  The Student Computer Fee Committee, whose membership includes 50 percent students as required by Board policy, developed and endorsed this proposal unanimously.
