THAT: The Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes Montana Tech of The University of Montana to reorganize administratively the College of Engineering and the School of Mines.

EXPLANATION: Montana Tech seeks permission to merge the current School of Mines and the College of Engineering to form the School of Mines and Engineering. The proposal will bring administrative efficiency to the engineering programs at Montana Tech and will better reflect the types of programs and services that are available at the institution.
