THAT: The Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes the College of Technology of The University of Montana-Missoula to terminate the two-year Fashion Sales and Marketing Option of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Management and the one-year Certificate in Fashion Sales and Marketing.

EXPLANATION: Increased requirements in technology have made it difficult to provide adequate educational programs for both the two-year Fashion Sales and Marketing Option of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Management and the one-year Certificate in Fashion Sales and Marketing. The business technology faculty, the Management Program Director, and the Management Advisory Committee agree to terminate the AAS degree and certificate programs altogether and advise students interested in this career field to obtain the two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Retail Management or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Sales and Marketing.
