About Us ...
As Montana’s Workforce Development Unit of the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education we oversee the management of Carl Perkins funds for two-year institutions and other various workforce development programs.
We strive to provide clear direction and leadership for all aspects of postsecondary education while clearly articulating the importance of workforce development in the economic future of our state.
We work collaboratively with the Office of Public Instruction and other various state and community levels organizations to develop academic, technical and social skills necessary to the pursuit of lifelong learning and success.
To serve the practitioners in the field, we provide technical assistance, professional development opportunities, and support for initiatives with statewide impact.
