Perkins 2008-12 State Plan
Current Perkins State Plan
Having received approval by the Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE) and the Montana Board of Regents, this revision of the state plan is in effect beginning July 1, 2010.
Original Perkins State Plan
Effective July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010 for the 08-09 and 09-10 grant years. It has been approved by the Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE), Board of Regents and the Commissioner of Higher Education.
Montana Consolidated Annual Report
Every year the Workforce Development Division of the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education and the Career & Technical Education Division of the Office of Public Instruction report Perkins activities to the Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE). Report to Legislature
This report provides a summary of the Carl D. Perkins legislation reauthorized in 2006 and the steps taken to create the final Montana State Plan for Career and Technical Education: FY 2008-2012 to achieve the priorities of the new legislation to improve access and success of Montana’s students.
After an extensive and deliberate process the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium has developed a new vision statement on the future of CTE which will highlight the significant role CTE will play in our new economy. The vision was developed through in-depth discussions among state directors, associate members, valued stakeholders from business and industry, and education groups. The vision statement consists of a set of forward-thinking principles that will serve as a guiding tool for CTE leaders as they develop and implement programs for their communities.
