Council Goals
- Begin with the end in mind: an easily understood array of all courses that are guaranteed to transfer as equivalents. To this end, the BOR (policy 301.5.5) has decided that each equivalent course shall carry the same title, number, credits, and label.
- Come to consensus about main learning outcomes associated with courses that are to be transferred as equivalents throughout the state.
- Note and honor significant differences in learning outcomes of apparently similar courses on different campuses. Do not force unique courses to conform for the sake of ease of transfer.
