Report E
Geographic Origin and Residency Status of Students
Report E shows the geographic origin of all enrolled students based on the student's address when applying for admission. The students are counted by geographic location and distributed by first-time status (freshman, transfer, graduate, student level (undergraduate, graduate) and residency status (resident, nonresident, WUE). This report has four parts:
- Part A includes all students with Montana addresses listed by Montana county.
- Part B includes all students with non-Montana, U.S. addresses listed by state.
- Part C includes all students with non-U.S. addresses listed by country.
- Part D includes all students summarized by the categories above.
This report is required for the fall term only. Private colleges do not identify residency status. The report should list only those locations with enrolled students, not all possible counties, states, or countries. That is, all the rows in the the table should have non-zero totals.
