The
State Motor Pool is located at 2701 Prospect Avenue (directly
in front of the Department of Transportation's headquarters
office). The Motor Pool's business hours are 6:00 AM through
5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
The
Motor Pool function is to provide cost efficient and reliable
vehicles on a daily and extended use basis to state employees
conducting official business. The Motor Pool offers the
following types of units to meet the users needs:
Class
02 - Small Utilities (Jeep Cherokees, Jimmy, Blazers)
Class 04 - Large Utilities (Jeep Grand Cherokees, Dodge
Durango)
Class 06 - Passenger Cars (Chevy Luminas, Ford Taurus)
Class 07 - Small Pickups (Chevy Sonoma, Dodge Dakotas)
Class 11 - Large Pickups (Chevy 1/2T, Dodge Quad 1500)
Class 12 - Vans (Passenger and Cargo type)
To
reserve a state motor pool car, call 444-2705.
When
you go to pick up the car, take the Vehicle Requisition
and Trip Ticket with you to the motor pool. You will
also be required to show them your driver's license.
The pink copy of the Trip Ticket must be turned in to the
fiscal department upon return from your trip.
