- Enrollment Limitations; Montana State University-Bozeman

Board policy:
Montana State University-Bozeman
is authorized to limit enrollment in Nursing and/or upper division Nursing classes.
Procedures:
- Assignments to upper
division (clinical) Nursing classes shall be prioritized based upon a compilation
of grade point averages in those courses designated by the School of Nursing
as having the greatest relevance and/or predictive value for success in Nursing.
- Students seeking assignment
to upper division Nursing courses shall be considered for a place through
a petition procedure, such consideration being secured by a fee, which shall
be refunded if a place cannot be offered.
- Montana State University-Bozeman
is authorized to collect a non-refundable Nursing Upper Division Petition
Deposit in the amount of $50.00. The deposit would serve to secure an offered
placement in the Upper Division Nursing (clinical) course work. The deposit
will be applied against the student fees when the student registers in the
first assigned semester.
