ITEM 110-2702-R0101       Authorization to Expend Student Equipment Fees: Montana State University - Billings       

 

THAT:                                    Consistent with the provisions of Board of Regents Policy 940.26, the Board of Regents authorizes Montana State University - Billings to expend Student Equipment Fee Funds to purchase approximately 70 computers, software, servers, and other networking equipment.  The total of these purchases will be approximately $130,000.  These purchases are needed to equip classrooms and labs in the Academic Support Center.

 

EXPLANATION:                  Board of Regents Policy 940.26 requires Board approval of all purchases over $25,000.   The Student Equipment Fee Committee membership is comprised 50% of students, as required by Board of Regents Policy.
