ITEM 108-1901-R0700       Student Computer Fee Allocation; Helena College of Technology of The University of Montana-Missoula

 

THAT:                                    Consistent with the provisions of Board of Regents’ Policy 940.23, the Board of Regents authorizes the Helena College of Technology to expend Student Computer Fee funds for the following project that exceeds the local approval threshold:  Purchase 30 computers to replace outdated classroom computers--$42,510. 

 

EXPLANATION:                  Board of Regents’ Policy 940.23 requires Board approval of all purchases form Computer Fees funds over $25,000.  The Student Computer Fee Committee, whose membership includes students, endorses this proposal.
