Lynn Morrison-Hamilton, first appointed to the Board of Regents in February, 1999 by Governor Marc Racicot, was reappointed in January, 2006 to an additional 7 year term by Governor Brian Schweitzer. A native of Havre, Montana, Ms. Morrison-Hamilton graduated from The University of Montana in 1974 with a degree in Journalism and double major in Speech Communications. She worked for a Los Angeles advertising agency and television stations in Missoula and Great Falls prior to spending more than 15 years as the Director of University Relations at Montana State University-Northern in Havre.

She is a former Chair of the Board and currently serves on the Academic/Student Affairs Committee and the Workforce, Research & Economic Development Committee. She is married to Miles Hamilton and they have two grown children.
