COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ARTS, SCIENCES AND NURSING

The College works with the surrounding reservation communities to support teacher education programs and those seeking licensure for K-12 schools. Contact 1-800-662-6132, extension 3745 for more information.
A grant with Rocky Boy Schools is preparing teacher's assistants to apply for the teacher education programs. These courses are delivered to the Rocky Boy Schools.

The College is working closely with Fort Peck Community College and Stone Child College with the Professional Indian Education grant to support the continued opportunities for teacher training at a distance and on-campus in the summer.  This program has been extremely successful in the past as we have approximately 60 graduates in the Hi-line tribal communities.

In addition, the College has recently received support for the Improving Teacher Quality through Field-Based Learning, Title II improving Teacher Quality Program grant which has been designed with a paraprofessional focus on moving those local individuals through our teacher education program in the Rock Boy community.
